Google faces location data probe by Ireland's Data Protection Commission
Ireland's Data Protection Commission has launched a Statutory Inquiry into Google’s processing of location data and transparency surrounding that processing. The body said it had received a number of complaints from various Consumer Organisations across the EU, in which concerns were raised with regard to Google’s processing of location data. The Commission will also be looking into Tinder.
