Microsoft opens its first data centres in Africa
Microsoft has announced that its first data centres in Africa have officially opened. The organisation will supply Azure from its new cloud regions in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa. Microsoft becomes the first global provider to deliver cloud services from data centres on the continent, according to a blog post from Tom Keane Corporate Vice President, Azure Global, Microsoft Azure.
