Verizon buys VR/AR tech from Jaunt
Jaunt has sold its virtual and augmented reality technology to Verizon. The startup, backed by Disney, has raised more than $100 million in recent years but appears to be closing its doors. Jaunt's press release failed to clarify the company's position moving forward but it will work with Verizon on the transition. It is known for its work in VR video productions but more recently focused on AR.
